Morning (Math) Riddle/Challenge

2. Read, Copy and Recall: Fold a piece of lined paper hot dog style to make 2 columns. Read your words and copy them in the first column.
3. Fold sheet over so words are underneath (hidden). Read word on Spelling City and write in new column (No peeking!)

Last week, we began to learn about the rock cycle. This week, we are going to continue on that path and complete an activity that will help you gain a deeper understanding of the cycle.
To begin, let's watch a video by none other than Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Supplies needed
. Starbursts candies
. Ziplock bag
. Pot, little glass bowl, stove, water OR microwave.
. Scissors
Steps
1. Make sure you have your parents permission and supervision when doing this activity.
2. Watch the video posted below and follow the instructions. Instead of using a stovetop, you can microwave your starbursts for a similar effect. Start with ten seconds then add in five or ten second increments until they are all melted.
3. Answer the following questions and hand them in.
