Morning (Math) Riddle/Challenge
Math is about using your brain to solve puzzles. One of the most famous types of puzzles to challenge your math thinking is called a Sudoku Puzzle. You may have heard of these before. Your challenge is to watch the video below, learn the techniques, and try to complete the small 4x4 Sudoku. Comment below if you managed to figure out how to do this Sudoku!
Steps

3. Use your logical skills to solve the puzzle I posted below the video
4. Hand it in

1. Find your group’s WEEK 23 spelling words on Spelling City.
2. Read, Copy and Recall: Fold a piece of lined paper hot dog style to make 2 columns. Read your words and copy them in the first column.
3. Fold sheet over so words are underneath (hidden). Read word on Spelling City and write in new column (No peeking!)
4. Click on the picture or the highlighted link to get to Spelling City

2. If you don't have a printer, no worries. Just use the file as a guideline and use a pencil/pen and paper.
3. Follow the prompt " Think about the best birthday present that you have ever received. This can be a tangible gift, an experience, or something else you received as a birthday gift. Think about why it was the best gift you received. List the reasons why you believe it to be the best gift for you. Be sure to include every detail you can think of about what made that gift the best."

Science Challenge!
1. Exercise is part of a healthy lifestyle for many reasons. Watch the video below to find out whether it is able to help out our brains work better.
2. After watching the video, answer these questions using a document or pencil/pen and paper:
- What were they trying to find out by doing this experiment? How did they do it?
- Which class would you have rather been in? Why?
- What happened to the “Super Movers?” Did it or did it not help their brains work better?
- How does exercise help your brain work better?
4. Comment below telling me what your favourite type of exercise is.
